GA4 setup and audit
Events named once, documented and identical in GA4, Google Ads and Tag Manager, so one click carries one name.
Analytics and tracking
GA4 set up once for Irish businesses that spend real money on Google Ads. You get a two-page event map, Consent Mode v2 wired and conversions matched to the sales your business counts.

€600 starts a GA4 setup or audit, the same fee as the SEO audit. No monthly retainer and no licence fee — GA4, Tag Manager and Consent Mode cost nothing to run. You pay for the configuration.
€600 covers a standard GA4 setup or audit on one site, with the banner check included. Multi-site groups, e-commerce revenue tracking and server-side containers are quoted on top, in writing, before any work starts.
| Work | Price |
|---|---|
| GA4 setup or tracking audit, one site | from €600 |
| Consent Mode v2 wiring and a banner check | included in the €600 |
| E-commerce and revenue tracking | scoped and quoted in writing |
| Server-side container: build and monthly running cost | scoped and quoted in writing |
Anything needing code inside your own application, or a server we host and run each month, is quoted separately before it starts. Everything that lives inside GA4, Tag Manager and Google Ads sits inside the €600.

What is included
Events named once, documented and identical in GA4, Google Ads and Tag Manager, so one click carries one name.
A refusal honoured in every Google tag, with modelling switched on only where your traffic clears Google's thresholds.
A container on your own subdomain, so browser rules and blockers stop deciding what you can measure.
First touch captured in a cookie and carried through to the paid invoice, so one channel gets the credit.
How it runs
Every tag on your site logged, duplicates named by page and one event map drafted for your sign-off.
You grant access to GA4, Google Ads and Tag Manager. Fifteen minutes in your account settings, once.
Events verified firing, consent checked against your banner and a two-page document handed over on day 14.
On our own platform, GA4, Google Ads and a self-hosted server-side container report the same purchase against the same client identifier — so the remaining gap between them is explainable rather than mysterious.
Questions
From €600 for one site, quoted in writing before work starts. That covers the tag audit, the two-page event map, Consent Mode v2 and conversion import into Google Ads. Server-side containers and e-commerce revenue tracking are scoped and priced on top.
They count different things and both are correct. Ads attributes to the click and reports on the click date. GA4 reports on the day of the session. Duplicate tags and different conversion windows widen the gap. The audit measures that gap and writes it into your two-page event map.
Yes to consent, and yes — the Irish DPC has not ruled against GA4. The instrument here is S.I. 336 of 2011, the ePrivacy Regulations, not the UK's PECR. Your banner has to block tags until a visitor chooses, with Consent Mode v2 behind it. We are not lawyers. If your appetite for risk is low, we scope an EU-hosted alternative instead.
Above €500 a month in Google Ads, where blocked browser tags hide conversions. A container on your own subdomain costs money to build and a fixed amount to run each month. Both figures are quoted in writing first. It earns nothing on a brochure site with forty visits a day.
Yes, and that is most of this work. We audit what fires now, list the duplicates by page and hand back a two-page event map. No hosting move and no rebuild. Your own team or agency maintains it afterwards.
No — Universal Analytics was switched off and its data deleted in July 2024. The two models do not merge, and Google kept nothing to export. GA4 is set up so year-on-year comparisons start from the day it begins collecting. We work with whatever CSV exports you saved before the shutdown.

One audit covers both: where you rank in Google, and whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews can reach and quote your pages. Fixed at €600, delivered in ten working days.
