Ecommerce website design in Ireland, from catalogue to paid order

Your shop opens on WooCommerce or Shopify with Irish payments, Irish VAT and trade pricing already working. Orders arrive on your domain, in your account, with no marketplace taking a cut.

  • Online shop from €2,500, quoted in writing before work starts
  • Stripe, Revolut, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with Irish VAT applied per product
  • Zero commission on every order you take, during the build and after launch
  • Trade accounts with their own price list, minimums and repeat ordering

€2,500where an online shop starts

€2,500 is where an online shop starts: catalogue, product pages, cart and a checkout that works on a phone. You pay us no commission on orders, no fee per sale and no monthly licence.

What you get on launch day

  • Checkout built and tested first on a real phone, before your catalogue is loaded
  • Stripe, Revolut, Apple Pay and Google Pay live at your checkout from day one
  • VAT set once at 23%, 13.5% and 9%, then applied per product across your catalogue
  • Trade accounts for wholesale customers: own log-in, own price list, own minimums and repeat ordering
  • Commission at zero per cent on every order you take, during the build and after launch
  • Product editing in your own admin, so a price or a photograph changes in two minutes
  • Exports of products, orders and customers as CSV, on any day you ask
  • Daily off-server backups, SSL renewals and updates on your care plan from €45 a month

Three steps from catalogue to first paid order

  1. Checkout goes in first: we connect Stripe or Revolut, set the three Irish VAT rates and load your catalogue into product pages.
  2. You send the product list, the photographs and the delivery charges, then spend 30 minutes approving the checkout on your own phone.
  3. From launch day the shop is yours to run: prices, stock, photographs and orders all edited by you, without ringing us.

What does a shop cost to build and to run?

€2,500 covers a catalogue shop on WooCommerce or Shopify. Custom checkout steps, trade pricing and integrations with stock or accounting move the figure. You get a fixed written quote before any work starts.

What is included and what is quoted on top?

Included

  • Catalogue load, product pages, cart and checkout on WooCommerce or Shopify
  • Irish VAT at 23%, 13.5% and 9%, mapped to each product type you sell
  • Stripe or Revolut connected, with Apple Pay and Google Pay switched on
  • Delivery zones, collection option and postage rules set to your own charges
  • Handover session and a written note of how your shop is put together

Quoted separately

  • Migration from Wix, Squarespace or Shopify, with every old product address redirected
  • Trade accounts, customer-specific price lists, order minimums and credit terms
  • Stock, accounting or courier integrations that need an API at both ends
  • Product photography, copywriting and translation into other languages

Edits under 30 minutes on your care plan are included. Anything needing a second system — courier, accounts package, stock feed — is quoted in writing first.

Is this the right shop for you?

A good fit if

  • You carry up to a few hundred products and want the stock managed in-house
  • You hand a delivery app a quarter to a third of each order and want that margin back
  • You sell to trade and to the public and need two prices on one product

Probably not, if

  • Your budget is under €1,000 — a €900 landing page with a payment link suits you better
  • You want a supplier paid from a share of your sales instead of a build fee

What is included

What this looks like in practice

Online shops

Catalogue, product pages, cart and checkout on WooCommerce or Shopify, with stock and prices you edit yourself in minutes.

Irish payments and VAT

Stripe, Revolut, Apple Pay and Google Pay at the checkout, with 23%, 13.5% and 9% applied to the right product lines.

Ordering without commission

Your own ordering page for takeaway, collection and delivery keeps the quarter to a third a delivery app takes in your account.

Trade accounts and price lists

Wholesale log-ins with customer-specific prices, order minimums and repeat ordering from a previous docket, while the public sees retail.

How it runs

From first call to live

  1. 1

    Enquiry and scope

You send the catalogue size, the payment methods you need and how you sell to trade. A 30-minute conversation settles the platform.

  2. 2

    Written quote

You get a fixed price and a written scope before work starts. Additions are priced in writing, so the figure moves only when you ask.

  3. 3

    Launch and handover

Your shop goes live with payments, VAT and delivery tested. You get the admin log-ins, a written handover note and full exports on request.

3revenue paths on one site

For an Irish car-audio retailer, the catalogue, the fitting bookings and the warranty pages live on one site. An order, a fitting slot and a support question all arrive in the same place.

Selling through a marketplace

  • A delivery app takes a quarter to a third of each order
  • The app keeps the customer's name and email
  • Trade buyers ring or email to get their own prices
  • Prices and stock change when somebody else's system allows it

Selling through your own shop

  • Your card processor's published rate is the only deduction
  • Your customer list sits in your admin and exports on demand
  • Trade accounts log in and see their own price list
  • You edit a price or a photograph in two minutes

Questions

What clients ask before we start

What does an ecommerce website cost in Ireland?

Online shops start at €2,500, quoted in writing before work begins. The figure moves with catalogue size, custom checkout steps and any stock or accounting systems that need connecting. Trade pricing and migration are priced as separate lines, so you can see what each one costs.

Should I choose WooCommerce or Shopify?

Shopify when you want the hosting rented — WooCommerce when you want hosting you control. Shopify bills a monthly licence and patches the platform for you. WooCommerce sits on your care plan from €45 a month, with backups and updates included.

Do you take a commission on orders?

None, on any order, ever. You pay for the build and, if you want it, a care plan from €45 a month. Your card processor's published rate is the only deduction from a sale. We add nothing on top.

Can the shop show different prices to trade customers?

Yes — trade accounts log in and see their own price list. Order minimums, credit terms and repeat ordering from a previous docket come with it. The public still sees your retail price on the same product page.

Can customers order from a QR code at the table?

Yes, with the table number attached to the order automatically. The code opens your menu on the customer's phone, with no app to install. The order lands on a printed docket, a kitchen tablet or an email.

Can you move my shop from Wix, Squarespace or Shopify?

Yes, with every old product address redirected to its new one. Products, images, customers and orders are migrated first. Your old shop stays live until the new one is proven, so an enquiry never lands on a dead page.
