Fixed €450 first step: every live URL crawled, matched to a new destination and written into a plan you own.
Migration and rescue
Website migration services in Ireland, without losing the rankings
Moving your site safely starts with an address map: every old URL matched to its new home before anything moves. You get that map for €450, credited against the move itself.
- Address map and move plan for €450, credited against the move
- Every old address redirected — images, PDFs and campaign pages included
- .ie Authcode and transfer fee handled, DNS records rebuilt before the switch
- Search Console watched for 30 days after switch day, errors reported weekly
€450fixed first step, credited back
From €450 you get the address map and the move plan — the paid first step. That €450 comes off the migration itself. No hosting bill and no retainer before you see the plan.
What do I get for €450?
- Address map covering every live URL, image and PDF on your site, delivered in five working days.
- Redirect plan in one document you can hand to any developer, including your own.
- .ie transfer checklist: where the Authcode comes from, what the transfer fee buys, when it lands.
- DNS record inventory rebuilt at the new provider, so your email keeps working on switch day.
- Rollback rehearsed before switch day and timed, so your old site returns in minutes.
- Old site kept live for a fortnight after the switch while the redirects settle.
- Search Console watched for 30 days: crawl errors, index coverage and your top landing pages.
- Handover pack with logins, server notes and the redirect map, in accounts registered to you.
Your part takes fifteen minutes
- Your site is crawled, the address map written and the move priced from it. Five working days, €450 fixed.
- You send the registrar login, the hosting login and the Authcode. Fifteen minutes at your desk, once.
- From switch day your part is done. Monitoring runs for 30 days and the weekly report comes to you.
What does the move itself cost?
€450 covers the map and the plan on sites up to 1,000 addresses. The move is then priced from that map, with your €450 taken off its total.
| What you buy | Price |
|---|---|
| Address map and move plan | €450 fixed, credited against the move |
| Move to a new host, same site | Priced from the map |
| Rebuild on a new platform | From €1,600 |
| Care plan after the switch | From €45 per month |
What is included and what costs extra?
Included
- Crawl of the live site and the redirect map, for up to 1,000 addresses.
- Redirects for images, PDFs and old campaign pages, not only the pages in your menu.
- .ie Authcode handling, with DNS records rebuilt and verified before the switch.
- Old site reachable until the new one answers correctly on your own domain.
- Search Console monitoring for 30 days, with crawl errors sent to you weekly.
Quoted separately
- Redesign of the site you are moving — quoted as a build, from €1,600.
- Hacked sites where the infection has reached the database or the server.
- New content, new sections or new languages added during the move.
- Registrar disputes that need paperwork proving who owns the domain.
Up to 1,000 addresses sits inside the €450 map. Above that the map is priced per thousand addresses, and confirmed on your order before any work starts.
This is not for every site
A good fit if
- Your rankings pay the bills and the site has to change host, platform or domain.
- Your developer stopped replying and nobody in the office holds the logins.
- Your site was hacked and Google shows a warning beside your name in search.
Probably not, if
- Your site has under 20 pages and no traffic to protect — a new build from €900 costs less.
- Your WordPress site runs fine on a host that runs fine — the €450 buys nothing here.

What is included
What this looks like in practice
Host, platform and domain moves
Old site kept live until the new one answers on your domain, with a tested rollback that takes minutes.
Hacked site recovery
Infection removed, the entry point closed, then the Google warning cleared and a review request filed the same day.
Locked out of your own site
Ownership evidence assembled, the registrar route worked first, then every account rebuilt in your name: domain, hosting and analytics.
How it runs
From your brief to live
- 1
Address map first
Order the map: on the order form choose “My own price for the whole project” and enter €450. Every live URL, image and PDF is crawled and matched to a new destination. Five working days.
- 2
Move with the old site still live
The site is moved, redirects loaded and DNS records recreated. Your old site stays reachable until the new one is verified.
- 3
Switch, then watch for 30 days
DNS is switched, redirects are checked live and Search Console is watched for 30 days. Rollback takes minutes.
301the redirect that saves the rankings
A permanent redirect passes the ranking signals of an old address to its new one. Mapping every old address before the switch is most of what a safe migration is, and it is the step that gets skipped.

Questions
What clients ask before we start
How much does a website migration cost in Ireland?
€450 for the map and plan, then the move priced from it. That €450 is credited against the migration. A 40-page brochure site and a 4,000-page catalogue are not the same job, so the price comes from the map.
What do I need to move a .ie domain?
An Authcode from your current registrar, plus the transfer fee. That fee either renews a domain due for renewal or pays the next renewal forward. Your DNS zone stays with the old registrar, so every record is recreated at the new provider and verified first. Skip that step and email stops on the day the transfer completes.
Will my rankings drop after the move?
A small dip in the first fortnight is normal; a lasting drop is not. Long drops trace back to missing redirects, blocked crawling or content changed on the same day. Your content stays as it is on switch day, and Search Console is watched for 30 days.
My old developer will not give me access. What can be done?
The domain registrar is the first route, acting on proof of who paid for it. Hosting is harder — the site can be rebuilt from what is publicly served and from archive copies. The endpoint is every account registered to you: domain, hosting and analytics.
My site was hacked. Can you clean it and stop it recurring?
Yes — infection removed, entry point closed, then the search warning cleared. The entry point is traced through server logs and the plugin, theme and core versions. Where the compromise has reached the database or the server, the rebuild is quoted before anything starts.
How long does the whole thing take?
Five working days for the map, then the move is scheduled with you. A small site switches inside a fortnight of you accepting the price of the move. A large catalogue takes longer, and the date is agreed on your order page.
